that's sort of the question are body piercings popular where your from in the world? as there is users on this site from just about everywhere. I seemed to think of piercings as a north American thing , I'm from Canada and they've been popular here for a number of years now. belly button and nose being some of the most common but others being done as well. I noticed when browsing Facebook that there are other areas where there popular too like Europe , Australia and south America its common practice now as well areas like belly button to be pierced.

I was at the beach last weekend , I like the beach but don't get there that often. I have always noticed there seems to be a lot of young women with tattoo's and piercings the last few years. and they seem to becoming even more common than in years past around here at least, I mean for last number of years has always been some girls with them but there seems to be more of them now , pretty much just about every girl that I saw in her late teen's - early 20's had her belly button pierced and I even saw much older women with the piercing as well. and a lot of these girls if you saw them elsewhere you wouldn't suspect they'd be type to have any body piercings as they seemed more average girls not necessary party girl type. anyways that was just my observations

was thinking about this at work , was an add on radio for piercing studio sale and it said you could get a piercing for $10 and get up 10 if you wanted to. made me think on average how many piercings does a person have these days. most guys don't have many but some girls could have a lot if you start to count everything an average girl has pierced these days.

like as an example was this girl that I know , she has her belly button , double tragus , double basic ears and cartilage I think if I remember right so her number of piercings would be 8 if you count all the ear piercings as 1 each.

just sort of a random question , wondering would you care if employers knew you had a piercing or tattoo? these days a lot of young people have hidden piercings and tattoo's. girls often have pierced belly button's that are hidden from view and some other piercings are popular as well. tattoo's are also very common and well hidden from view.
would you care if an employer or potential one knew you had something pierced or inked that was not visible during work? mean if you were trying to come across as the " good girl " to get the job would them knowing you had something pierced/inked make you come across as more wild / bad girl type?
