Okay so, there was this guy in my class iv known for 3 years or so, I started to crush on him and a few months later he started to mirror me, wait to walk from the car park with me and generally chat more.
Then he started to message me and we would chat for a while and he would keep conversation going. He would open the messaging by asking some question about class then chat about other stuff for a while (sometimes a couple hours, sometimes throughout the whole day). If I said I had to go do something, say study, he would message later and ask how study went. We messaged about travel plans, career plans etc. And I realized we actually have loads more than I thought in common. In the messages he used a lot of emoticons too. In the messages he seemed genuinely interested in talking with me and i felt like we got to be good friends, but it did feel like there was a connection there too.

Anyway then i saw him in person and we didn't talk at all since we were going for an exam, after that it felt like things changed but he still messaged a bit but seemed a more distant?

Then he asked me to come out drinking with him and two of our other college friends so I went. And one of the girls said he messages her a lot too and he was basically like normal with me, nothing to suggest anything at all.

So basically now i am wonder if it was all in my head since i liked him. Or if he might be the type that keeps a few girls interested (though i really dont think he is the type to string anyone along). Or if i just didn't give him a clear idea that i liked him back, are boys really as dense with this stuff as people say they are?

I have no clue when it comes to guys so any help woudl be so appreciated!!!

Okay sorry if this is a bit long, im just driving myself crazy and i need to understand what is happening here!
So there is this guy in my class (we are both 22), he is part of my group of friends and we have made causal conversation on and off, hung out outside of college as part of a group a couple times and done a good bit of group work etc. together. I only caught feelings for him in the last couple months and a few weeks ago he started acting like he might have feelings back, here is what makes me question it;
- he started waiting to walk from the car park to class with me a couple weeks ago.
- iv watched and he seems to mirror things i do quite a lot, like he will sit in the same position as me when we sit next to each other in class.
- he glances at me quite a bit.
- he tells me about his plans when we chat in the mornings.
- he started messaging me on facebook, the first time he asked a question about college and then kept messaging for an hour and a half or so, chatting about tv shows and other things, used lots of emoticons and ! marks.
- he messaged me most days this week, i messaged him on one of the days. When i said i had to go one day, he messaged later and asked how i got on, we talked for about an hour both times i think.

But here's what makes me confused;
-He changes his messaging a lot, sometimes he is using lots of emoticons and sometimes not at all.
- he starts a conversation but doesn't try to continue it and will leave the last message i send un-replied to sometimes.
- when i messaged him one day he didn't really try to keep the conversation going.

So what is happening here?
Does this guy like me?
What does he want me to say/do?
What SHOULD i say or do?
I just dont have much confidence with this sort of thing and i can't trust my judgement, it did feel like something was going on over the weekend but now it feels sorta colder?

Please help guys i am so confused! i just want to know whats happening!!
