The cafe for which I work for now has no toilet personnel. Money is the issue, of course, they refuse to pay minimum wage for the toilet ladies.

So now we, the servers, have to check on the toilets once every two hours, and clean it if it's dirty. And knowing the customers, the toilet WOULD be dirty as shit. Especially the ladies' rooms. People manage to get pee and blood everywhere. It just baffles me. Not to mention soon it will be carnival over here and people would come in drunk to pee and then throw up on the bathroom floor...

All my coworkers are really mad about this and we were all in such a bad mood when we heard the news.

These are the issues:
1. We deal with food. We handle plates and cups and cutlery and everything the customers eat and drink. It would be so disgusting to go down and touch the toilets every two hours and then go back up and touch food again. Despite the hand washing and wearing an extra coat.
2. Nobody likes to clean toilets. If we wanted to clean toilets, we wouldn't apply for a job as a coffee server, duh! We'd work as janitors if we're fine with cleaning disgusting toilets.

How would YOU feel if you knew that the waitress that waited on you and touched the plates and cutlery that you use to eat also has to clean the toilets? Would you think it's unsanitary? Would you assume that they've cleaned their hands properly and thus would not question the hygiene? Would it generally bother you?

I just heard from a coworker today, she cleaned the toilets after closing time and when she opened the trash bin in the ladies' room, the smell of used pads and tampons, unwrapped, attacked her. That was on Saturday night. Now she has lip herpes. FUCK! I don't want to catch any infectious diseases through cleaning toilets! Are you kidding me?

This is the issue. There's this guy at work who is younger than I am we would flirt back and forth although he is much better at flirting than I am? He smiles all the time , touches me calls my name all the time. I even mustard up the courage to ask him could I kiss him and to my shock he let me on two different occasions. I am painfully shy. He told me that no matter what I asked him to do he would do it anyway because he likes me. I don't know maybe he doesn't like me in that way? AAnyway I was feeling naughty so I told him that I missed him and he had biggest smile on his face? Then I told him that you know when I kissed you on your cheek that I wanted to kiss your lips? And his response was that I would have plenty more opportunitys? I take that was a good sign? Anyway we were working one weekend and he was just all over me so I told him you better be prepared because I want my kiss to night and he was just a smiling and I told him I was serious and he said I know you are? So he was actually waiting for me but I didn't no if had someone in there with him or not? This guy is so beautiful? I wanted to go to his car so bad but I was afraid. I mean this guy looks at me as if I am the only woman in the room? I told my friend that I have feelings for him. And she told him that I have a crush on him? And she said that he was just smiling from ear to ear he even told her about the kiss AL the while smiling? But know it seems as if he is ignoring me why would he do that but I do find him glancing over at me from time to time. I don't know what that means. I want to tell him how I feel before it's too late I don't know maybe it is.
