So my mom is from downtown Pittsburgh and she is really overprotective. She doesn't let text anyone she hasn't met, she won't let me walk around the neighborhood (we've been living here for two years), and she treats me like I'm seven. She seriously still refers to herself as mommy and reads my text messages. She is always yelling at me for the smallest things, when she lets my sister do pretty much anything. This summer, for example, she was yelling at me for not asking her for help with my advanced reading (but I did), and today, she said my Halloween costume was all crumpled on the floor, then I said it was still in the bag, and she stood up and proceeded to yell at me about my attitude and threatened that she would make me stay home tomorrow (my friend is having a Halloween party, but if she knew that other people were coming she would never let me go), but she's always threatening that she'll cancel everything when I ask her why I can't do something. She says that she does it out of love, but I don't think that you could be so awful to somebody and still love them. Is this emotional abuse?

My sister, Maya, is four years older than me and I'm very sure she hates me. I've actually been afraid to go to sleep with her in the house when she's in a bad mood, because that's just how terrible she is. She always yells at me, ignores me, makes me do things for her, makes fun of me, and sometimes hits me. She has called me stupid on many occasions, and it has been this way since I was about eight or nine. I tried hugging her, and she pushed me away. I honestly can't wait until she goes to college, and I won't miss her. I don't love her. Is she abusing me too?

Also, since I was little I have prayed to die because I have never loved my life. My parents are divorced, and they're always screaming at each other. I had no friends, and lately I've been contemplating suicide, though I know I would never go through with it. I cry a lot, and I think I might be depressed.

Im asking this so it doesn't bother me much later on and wanted to see peoples opinion. I dated my ex boyfriend 2 years ago which was so long ago and we only went on 5 dates in one year. We just kissed, hugged, talked alot, went to places we never had sex. Plus im still a virgin. The emotions were very intense not going to lie. But i guess this still sounds like a fling almost that i had with my ex boyfriend right? It def was not long term. I dont want to discuss a lot what happened between me and him, but i already have it under my other questions here if anyone wants to read it so i dont type it again. Its under my profile, questions, "long distance bf", "you deserve better" and "if ex contacts you on vday". I guess he had his chance with me & lost it. Claims he feels so bad but i had a bad feeling about my ex. He knows im a good person but he plays games with my feelings, manipulates me, comes in n out of my life when he feels like it. I have been trying for a year to get back wirh him and he wasted 7 months avoiding me, looking at other girls, made me feel not good enough, he also broke promises he's made to me. Like i told him how upset i was when he ignores me & i was crying myself to sleep he said he won't do it again and still does. I hate when guys call women bad names. my ex did that. He knew i never had sex and he calls women hoes, bitch, etc. He didn't say it in my face but on fb stats. I have him blocked so he can't bother me anymore. he's been dating other girls after me. I didn't date since 2 years ago. His friend probably heard i dont sleep around so maybe he's wants to date me too. The guy i like now had a gf 3 years long time ago. My ex had very short term flings.

So i feel attracted to the friend, he's looking for someone too, starts convo with me as well but i first contacted him, i told him as a friend n i dont want to ruin friendship with them. My parents dont approve of my ex, but i dont know why i feel so guilty?:(.
