There's this guy (A) who I know is very attracted to me and I have a strong feeling that his affections are pretty deep. He'd get a bit protective at times and the strongest takeaway was during out last meeting (throughout which he kept trying to brush against me, lean into me etc.) where his eyes suddenly softened (kind of like doe eyes) suddenly and he looked at me in an endearing way (while also softening his voice). It felt a bit too intense. I also had a hard time maintaining eye contact w him during that time as he hardly looked away.

We met in a group setting 2 days later and another guy (B) in the group was paying me a lot of attention. I knew B was interested me and I think it was apparent to others as well. I was friendly enough but I didn't engage in anything. B is very accomplished and it's pretty obvious that A holds his opinions in high regard. I know A has insecurity issues - he's so fidgety around me and would constantly apologise for things that he shouldn't have to. He has a slight anxiety issue too.

In any case, he kind of backed off in a sense that he was way more passive as compared to when it's just us 2. Even though he was clearly listening in on the conversation between me and B?

Could it be because another guy whom I think he holds in higher regard is hitting on me?

I’ve liked this boy for a while (three years.) at one point he knew, he showed a bit of interest in me for a while too but i never knew for sure because I’ve always been too scared to talk to him without reason. He used to make eye contact with me everyday in class and when we were partnered up he offered to put my books back and stuff. He’s a nice person. I realized that when we’re close though, he can’t make eye contact with me?
Anyways to the point of this question-
I deliver notes throughout the school 7th period everyday, and I turned into his hall and the second i walked around the corner he walked out of his classroom. I went to deliver that note and about 20 minutes later i had another note to deliver in that hall so i went in again, turned the corner and he walked out of his classroom THE SAME EXACT time. It was like we were literally synched. He looked at me for about two seconds walking past and then looked down the rest of the time at the ground. I read something on body language and mirroring bc he used to mirror my body language in class but there’s no Way he knew i was coming into the hall because i didn’t walk by his classroom for him to see me.

This literally has happened more than twice.. more like I don't know 10 times from last year to this year? i just think it’s so weird that he walks out and we’re just the only one in the hall.. and at the SAME EXACT timing. is this some kind of fate or something? Is the universe trying to tell me something? Lol (kidding.) that sounds so silly. but Could that be a thing? Also I’ve seen him sO many times out of school places i would go so it’s so weird. He’s the only person this has happened with, for me in my life?

Anyone who answers this question, i appreciate irZ not many people give me their opinions lol so anything helps. I know this post is kinda wack and everything but is this coincidence or fate lol.. literally has happened way too many times

This may not be the best place to ask for this type of advice, but please help if you can. 3 YEARS AGO: my widowed mother was emotionally manipulated into marrying someone who she met through a deceitful “friend”. Let me explain; my mom’s best friend’s EX husband (who we’ll call CACTUS) contacted my mom about a potential “HUSBAND” (PRICK) for my mom. Her, being lonely, accepted PRICK’s number and they started chatting. I didn’t think anything of it since she tried to find romance countless times in the past :/ as you continue reading about her situation, keep in mind that PRICK lives on the east coast and we live on the west coast! Literally 2 weeks after they found out about each other’s EXISTENCE, CACTUS and PRICK flew out to the west coast so that PRICK and my mom could meet. When my mom laid eyes on him, there was no denying that she fell in love. ESPECIALLY when he proposed to her! He revealed that he only married her so that he would get his green card (not for love or to grow old together) and FORCED her sign a contract that basically criminalizes her too (it says that she’s aware of the fact that it’s a false marriage, so if she reports him, she’d get jail time as well and he’d get deported back to Uzbekistan). He also has a lawyer on the east coast who’s in on the fact that they have a false marriage and she gives him “advice on how to make their marriage look real” (like moving in together~which only lasted for a year, and was miserable). We’re sick of all his games and the lies we’ve had to deal with! He’s threatening her life and our family if she divorces/leaves him! It’s been three years and he’s done nothing but treat her like filth and my sister and I have helplessly witnessed it all happen. Any time I try to stand up for my mom, he says my opinion doesn’t matter since I’m only 17. How, if possible, can my mom SAFELY leave him? He deceived us KIDS into thinking we’d have a dad who actually cared about us, and that emotionally hurt us.

A met this guy a few days ago and we instantly connected. Talking to him felt natural and still does. The connection between us feels perfect and right. Ever since the day we met we’ve just been getting to know each other. His very open with me and tells me everything I want to know. His also very eager to get to know me and asks me a lot of questions. We’ve been texting back and forth for days in a row never ending the conversation. When we see each other in person he holds doors open for me, waits for me so we can walk together and smiles at me when we make eye contact across the room.

But the thing is he hasn’t asked me out on a date yet. And he will be doing lots of traveling this year.

So I guess I’m wondering am I wasting my time and getting my hopes up or is this guy the real deal.
