Search Results: fiance left me

My fiance and I have been dating for almost a year now. We would spend almost every day together, but now that he's gone out of state for work, it's like he never talks to me anymore. It used to be that I wouldn't hear from him for a whole week at a time. I've talked to him about it, and now he's texts me every day, but they're usually dry, empty texts, always the same one just worded differently.

Every morning he texts to say good morning, but then I don't hear from him until the next morning and it's the same message. His job doesn't really let him any time for talking during work, but he has plenty of time after work to talk.

Last night we had a fight, over (you guessed it) text, because he never calls and preferred to text. The last time he called was about a week ago, and before that, 8 days. He apologized but also reminded me that he had his career to work on. So I told him if he wanted to be left alone to work on his career, that's fine, but he can count on me not telling him anything about me until I can get to where he is.

This morning I received yet another text from him. He said he wanted to make it better, and that he was going to call me. But he never calls when he says. Plus I already told him to fuck off and go be busy and alone because I wasn't going to talk to him until I can do it face-to-face.

So now that the details are out of the way, should I keep ignoring him like I said I was going to do? Or should I pick up the phone when he calls?
