A lot of my friends have talked about marriage and all that, but I've never wanted to get married. I don't plan on having a family, nor do I want to have a relationship like that. My friends find it weird since they thought I'd be the one already PLANNING my wedding since I'm boy crazy, and I'm not saying that I don't want a real relationship, it's just that I have no intention of ever getting married and having a family with anyone.

There's no deeper meaning to this, I just don't see myself getting married. I don't want to get married because I know I won't get married. I'm not interested in marraige or a family. Is that weird? I don't feel like it's that uncommon, surely there are people out there that have never been married and never wanted to get married simply because they like being independant and it's always worked for them, just like it's worked for me. Of course I've had close friends who've helped me through tougher times but I feel that I can live with friends no matter how busy they are through their lifetime.

Is there anyone else out there who feels this way too? Is it normal or is it just weird?
