So a girl friendzoned me the other day despite having seeming to be very interested prior. We met through a mutual friend at a couple social gatherings and she agreed we should go on a date. Setting something up was difficult coming up on finals week of senior year/work etc. During this time communication was pretty minimal because we were both busy and because would have preferred to talk in person. I tried seeing if she'd be interested in catching a movie or getting something to eat/drink later one day and her response was that she wasn't too busy but wasn't looking for anything and wished me the best moving forward. We then messaged a bit more making some jokes about mutual interests and I said I'd still look forward to seeing her at gatherings with the mutual friend. I feel like never having met 1 on 1 we never really got a chance to get to know eachother and feel that first impressions were probably that i am awkward. The second time i hugged her and kissed her on the cheek which was probably a bad move... I was a bit more drunk than i had meant to be. However at the bar we were hanging out together and on the way back jokes were made about us being a couple etc. I think this may have made her feel uncomfortable/forced... any ideas about anything? Tbh not really sure what I'm asking... maybe if its still okay for me to try to land a date at some point moving forward? Thoughts?

My third boyfriend was so ugly probably one of the ugliest people I ever met , he was an intovert, he was shy and he lacked self esteem because he knew he was not attractive he couldn't even summon the courage to ask me out because he thought I would turn him down, sadly he had to tell his best friend to tell me on his behalf that he wanted to date me and of course I turned him down... Like who would like to date someone so unattractive? But his friend pleased with me to give him a try and I did. I'm really beautiful and he's so ugly that my classmates tagged us as "Beauty and the Beast" which made me feel even more angry but through out that relationship I never felt insecure, not even for one minute... No girl was after him because of his horrible appearance and his personality was divine but no girl cared that he had a good personality because of how ugly he was, that was the best and most peaceful relationship I ever had and I never for a second had to worry about other girls chasing after him. And I didn't bother about him chasing after other girls too because I knew he wasn't confident about his looks. Its so sad that many ugly people have low self esteem. Our relationship was so long and peaceful, even after high school, we still continued dating.

There may be other reasons why girls prefer ugly boyfriends, But my main and only reason is because there are some inconsiderate girls out there who can never respect anyone's relationship and just because they're crushing on a hot guy... They try to win his heart at all costs without caring about his relationship or about the girlfriend he's cheating on or the fact that he'll stop loving her and the relationship will come to a terrible end. But with ugly boyfriends, if you know he isn't confident in himself or his appeaeance there's absolutely no need to worry about cheating. So far as he has a good personality, Trust me on this , You'll never feel insecure
