So my ex and I have been broken up for I guess a month now maybe? I haven't really been counting. But I texted him after about 2 or 3 weeks and he never replied so I moved on pretty good and was getting on with my life. Well then I was on vacation and he texted me a week after I texted him saying I know its a week late but thanks for congratulating me and he asked me how my vacation was. He continued to ask questions to keep the conversation going. Most people would say he's checking up on me and seeing what I'm up to. But it was very clear to me from little things that he said that he's been looking at my facebook and he would get all the info he needed from there because I update my status and stuff. So I'm really confused as to why he randomly texted me. Well I fell asleep while we were texting and never replied to his last text. We haven't talked since. I've seen him online on facebook but I don't say anything. Do I keep waiting for him to initiate conversation and let him do all the work? When our relationship began I always initiated a lot so I know he's used to that, but I don't want to seem like I'm waiting around on him. I was doing so good before he texted me and now I feel all thrown off and so lost as to why he did it. He seemed very interested in talking to me and what I was up to and he wasn't short with me like he was at the end of our relationship. But he hasn't texted me since. Does he think I don't want to talk to him or should I just wait on him to talk to me again? I hate this game haha.
