i can allready see those pro weapon nuts going crazy and hating on me for this but in light of the recent incident, i just want to raise this question:

the USA is world leading in "Gun related murders" (in comparison of "developed" countries).


even in Israel where there´s a freaking civil war raging with the Palestines are less Murders than in the USA, which is at "peace"

now if we compare that to how many guns are owned per country, it pretty much resembles this statistic (ignoring the "non developed" countries that are in the comparison here).


my personal rudimentary correlation between those graphics is: the more guns are owned by people, the more murder happens. so don´t give people guns, because they OBVIOUSLY can´t deal with it. sorry for all those "sane" people that use them for sports or other non nefarious things but that´s the hard reality.

how "easy" it is to own a weapon isn´t part of that comparsion but i know for example in northern european countries, it´s pretty damn hard to own a weapon, which is why the murder rates are so low despite the guns per 100 residents being "relatively" high.

what´s your view on that topic?
