i recently met this girl and got her number, i texted her the next day and things went well, so i decided to ask her to go see a play with me (was this too soon?) she said she couldn't because she was going opening night (darn) so basically i told her okay and ill let her know if something fun comes up because she said she was still free that day. is she letting me down easy or should i find something to do, if so what are some good ideas for a first date when you want to get to know her but your pockets are empty. im stuck on a college campus. i need help with the whole situation

I'm gonna make this short and easy to read by posting my text, her text, and ask who you guys think is wrong. and how do i fix it too? i had nothing but good intentions

Background: she is an alcoholic, she knows i turn down my parents who ask me to go to bars with them (to support her), and me and her work through her alcoholism together

Me: Just letting ya know, (school) is a total party school that has a lot of alcohol. And it's known for its girl. Just letting ya know i have no intention of getting involved with either, just for you :)

Her: You basically rubbed in my face hey im going to a party basically there's gonna be a lot of alcohol there. I dont have a disease but im going to throw it in someones face who does

So who was wrong, and how do i fix this? Please i really need to fix this because this girl is perfect for me

We also had a convo 2 days later of me trying to explain myself again, and this is how it went

Me: All because i said to you i wouldn't date other girls or drink behind your back at this college thats famous for its parties? Thats literally all i said. I said that so you can trust me

Her: Lmfao. Tool

It's funny cause she challenged me to go to an AA meeting and ask alcoholics about what i said, they all said i did nothing wrong. then they asked how sober she is, i told them 2 weeks, they said "yeah her minds probably screwy right now"

I told her one of her good friends, at the AA meeting, even said i did nothing wrong. She still said "Ok i dont wanna date you". it seems like she's JUST mad and thats why she doesn't wanna date me anymore
