Let's say you have a friend. They can be a friend you have in real life or online.

You have talked to this friend so long, gotten to know this friend so well that you know they're genuine. You trust them 100%. You know they wouldn't hurt you and that hey're there for you.

Would you leave them? no?

Well then, say you get a message about your friend from someone else. This someone else is mad at your friend for something they've done (or what they said they've done.) This message is negative. Everything this someone else has said contradicts who you know your friend to be. This someone else may not even have proof of what happened.

But you think about it, you may be confused, you may have some doubts, you may question, "Could my friend do these things?" "Are they who they who they say they are?"

Your "friend" can stand for anyone. (lover, pen-pal, chat buddy, best friend, etc)

The "some one else" stands for anybody (including who they're working with) that stands the chance of causing you to walk away from your friend.
