Search Results: how do i get over shyness

Okay so there's a lot to jam in here so let's get started
- Met Freshman Yr
- Dropped out and moved after 5 months
- Got her number before I left and kept in touch
- Stopped talking for awhile but she got things started up again with a text I got around 2-3 am
- Spent the following 3-4 years texting what felt like almost everyday
- One Valentine's we were texting and she told me "You know me so well"
- Didn't think much of it and dismissed it by saying I have a great memory (I Do)
- I supported her career choice and always told her i'd be there when she makes it
- She's known I liked her but its never been awkward or got in the way of our friendship
- Really got to know her over time or at least I hope I did.
- Started opening up to her when my grandma passed away this past September
- Neither of us were ever looking for a relationship and still aren't
- She started trusting me more even asking my opinion on a few pictures (Slightly Big deal since she's a REALLY Shy girl)
- Always supported her when she struggled with her shyness but neither of us ever talked about our problems it was always more of a good luck I know you can do it type of thing
- This past year has been the rockiest with a lot of personal things going on in my life and my chase for success. Thats when I started questioning our friendship
- First time we worked through it
- Second time was bad timing with my personal problems. Told her we should end it because its as if were only friends to kill time

A lot more I can put in here but not enough space. I need to know:

- If this can be fixed
- How can I show or say I'm sorry showing I really mean it (already apologized)
- Should I just give it time?

She's a great girl with a big heart. I hate the fact I said hurtful things to her after her being such a sweet girl this whole time.
I just want her to know I'm sorry, and that I'd really like to have her friendship again :/
Where is thus friendship at and where's it going

So I and my class-mates were sitting in class waiting for our teacher to arrive. This girl sits kinda diagonal to me. We weren’t even talking at that moment, and then she suddenly said “[My name], can I have your number, just so we can discuss what gift we’re all getting [teacher’s name] for the end of the year”. A male classmate who was sitting pretty much in-between burst out laughing and said, “Haha, smooth way to try to get [my name]’s number”. She didn’t respond. I gave her my number. The weird thing is, she never texted/called me, and we never did get a gift for the teacher at all.

Also, a few months back, we were working in the same computer room. She called over to me and asked me if I could check the quality of something she was writing (it is something I’m good at). She was sitting down and I stood behind her, leaned over her shoulder, and used the mouse and keyboard to fix the little errors I could see. I didn’t mean for it to be that way but I swear I could feel heat/tension between us with our heads side by side like that.

A few days ago, as I left the campus, I encountered her. We actually don’t talk that much, so I took the opportunity to ask her what she was doing over the summer. She looked nervous, but smiled and told me.

Does this girl like me? She is a shy girl generally, so is it just shyness? She doesn’t have a boyfriend. Based on my past record, I do tend to attract shy girls.
