My friend is in his early twenties and I'm 16. But we met when I was about 13-15. We've been friends for a couple years and we use to play games together, but I stopped at one point because I had to deal with school. We still talked on social media and messaged each other, but sometimes we stop for months until one of us (usually me) messages the other one. Sometimes like this week he sent me a funny video and we started talking again because of that. He calls me sassy and jokes with me a lot. He sometimes in the past would tell me a little personal stuff, but he doesn't really now. I'm thinking he doesn't really like me because I'm not 18. But when we had first met online, he really wanted to know my age. He would tease me about my height, tease me about my laugh and of my gaming skills (they use to suck).

He's a friend of a friend and I barely know him. I guess he's an acquaintance but he texted me and said "I miss you"
(It had only been 1 day since I saw him and gave him my number so I didn't feel the same)

I texted back and said "You can't miss something you never had 😉"
(I thought about not replying but I didn't wanna leave him hanging)

Then he texts "Oh no I mean I miss soda, darn autocorrect!"

I text back "mmmhm sure"

And now he says I'm mean.
(I thought I was being funny in a sassy way)

He said "Beyoncé looks like she wears the pants in the relationship"

so my inner feminist came out and started saying why would you say that? She isn't a feminist just because she's strong and independent. and that's the problem with a lot of guys is that they think if a girl is powerful and independent then she's wearing the pants. I was pretty heated but respectful when saying all that

he said "I think Beyoncé seems like a badass don't get me wrong and I'm just saying she gives off the vibe that she wears the pants. For all I know she might be the exact opposite but I'm saying the vibe I get is that she's the boss "

so then he says "it's probably because she's too sassy"

and I went off on him a little bit

at th end he said "look baby I never mean to attack your values so if you felt that I did then I'm sorry but that's not my intention. I love you"
