The ones that are always ''Oh no, tell the truth at all times, you have to always do the right thing''. I doubt the majority of us are even like that and have their exceptions there they don't apply excessive morality.

For instance, if my younger brother committed something petty like stealing $100 from a wallet and there was no chance of him being discovered, at most I would be pissed off and scold him but I wouldn't turn him in nor tell the cops the true. Same thing if a dear friend confided in me that his/her marriage is awful and they had an affair. If my friendship to them was close, I'm not going to destroy that for the sake of ''morals and tell the truth, nothing but the truth at all times''. If they're not going to confess then I would simply tell them I don't want to hear it anymore.

I've lied to my parents about my grades at some point when I was majoring in psychology (I was lazy when I was younger that's and wasn't thinking too much about future goals). I'm now in another major and nearly done. Still, my parents don't know every single little aspect of myself.
