Long story short. He has been my best friend for about 6 years now. We liked each other when we first met but we stayed close friends.

I moved to another country, visited few times and on a drunken night, we made out for 2 hours and never spoken about it. Saw him few times after that on my next visit but nothing happened..

Later I confessed I had feelings for him in angry email telling him am done waiting, he replied that he thinks of me as his best friend hhe didn't want to lose me so he never allowed himself to go beyond this and that he wanted me so bad last time he saw me and that he never knew I had this kind of feelings... I disappeared for a while since I wanted to get over my feelings.

I moved back this year and decided to be friends again, we had an intense make out session first time we saw each other and we slept with each other few times after that.. but again we never spoke about the status of our relationship.

Now few weeks ago I was tipsy and I texted him that I didn't wanna hear stories about other girls cause it bothers me and he didn't even reply. Saw him the next morning and he talked nonstop about girls and telling me about this ex who still loves him but its a LDR and he doesn't know what to do.

So my question is, is he telling me stories about girls to p*ss me off or is it because he wants to make it clear that we re just friends nothing more?

Now he knows I have feelings but he acts as if I never said anything, I don't want to get hurt and be used for sex and treated like a f*** buddy by my own best friend.

What should I do?

Nut-shell version: Met a guy at a party (not sure if the flirting went as well as my booze memory said it did), exchanged numbers, should I wait for him to make the first move or what?

Extended version: I tagged along with a friend to a very chill drunken hangout session. She liked the guy hosting (we were the only two girls there). I remember really flirting with a guy that I met and discovering we both liked some of the same really unique music. (This was Sat night, it is now Mon). When we started talking about music he said there was no way he'd remember all the artists I was suggesting, so I gave him my number and told him to text me sometime. He called my phone and gave me his name so I could save it. I don't know if actually saved mine, but he at least put it in his call log. The next day he and one of his friends added me on Facebook. (Everybody was awesome that night, so much fun!) The problem is I don't know if it was booze or more, and if nothing else I'm super excited to find somebody who likes the same music as me. (aka I'm not necessarily looking for a relationship, so much as a music buddy)

So.. Should I wait on him, should I text him, shoot him a Facebook message, or just chalk it up as an interesting evening?
