So a few months back, I met this girl at a good friend's party who I had a crush on (I see her in church from time to time). She happened to be his cousin. At first we didn't talk much, but eventually we started talking, with my friend present of course. We did make eye contact much during the conversation. But she didn't talk to me directly most of the time. Later, she commented that I had long eyelashes. I smiled and asked her if that was a good thing. She said that if I were a girl, I would be a pretty one.

Two weeks later, she added me on facebook. She started talking to me a few days after when I was online. She responded with lots of emoticons, "hahahas" and "awws". When I responded to her jokingly, she said that she foresee us as being good friends, as a joke in response to what I said
But she also took quite long to respond to my messages sometimes. She told me that she was busy out whole day so there's that. Keep in mind, we only talked on facebook

Fast forward months later, which was a week ago. I met her briefly and I commented that I liked her hair. She thanked me, and told me the exact same thing at the end of the conversation.

I don't know if I'm overthinking this or anything. Am I being reasonable with an assumption that she could be interested in me. Should I just drop it?

Hey, basically this girl i met off an online dating site has me on facebook and i have her number we texted/facebook chat for three months in big paragraphs with her -
copying x's,
Loads of ! ,
Loads emoticons,
asking questions etc..
and i asked her out a few times each time she said i'm busy but then i asked her straight if she still wanted to meet up and she said she wanted to get to know me better and yes twice!

She even replied to my messages on her birthday and Christmas day not the ones wishing her happy bday or Christmas but just our general conversation

She texted me on Christmas day hoping i have a wondeful day in response, anyhow each time i ask her out the conversation seems to shorten and her responses get less and less!

I can't tell if i am being led on by her or if she is really shy, one good example is once she texted me a long text then as i did not response in twenty minutes she responded with sorry for the uber long message xxx and i was going to take her to winter wonderland in hyde park and she asked me if

"Uno when it closes what's there instead? Or does it stay up?" which to me suggets she was considering a date later on!

I really like her but she either can't give me a straight answer or ignores me when i ask her out so should i call her as i have not spoke to her on the phone yet
