This guy I almost got in a relationship with ended things with me cause i was too immature. Fast foward few months later and he's in a new relationship. We have one mutual friend and when i visited this friend, he was there, we hadn’t talked since he ended things with me cause I didn’t react so well about it (hence why he thinks im immature probably) we were both drunk but he was being really nice to me and somehow we ended up sleeping together later that night. He felt bad the next morning and rushed me out. A week later i was in his area one night and text him asking if he wanted to hang out, he said he was with his gf so he couldn't, i said id be in his area for a few days and he seemed to come around to the idea of hanging out while i was down there but he kept treading lightly even at one point txting "but were just mates right?" but then shortly after he's saying things that sound abit flirty. He said i could hang out with him tomorrow while he has his daughter who is almost two for the night, (met her once before but only for few mins). We were both drunk when we were txting and planning this but we we’re not too bad. So the next morning i text him asking if he's still keen to hang out and then he pretty much says "no sorry" which i thought was pretty blunt. I ask him why he was keen lastnight but not today and he didn’t reply. I really like him, but im confused what he wants? Whether he is afraid hanging out with me will lead me on or whether he made plans while drunk and then just regretted it the next morning. Please help, I want him so bad but if I can’t have him I’d really like to stay friends with him because I enjoy hanging out with him. I feel like I scared him off by txting him lastnight. What is his deal?
