I met this guy a few months ago through mutual friends. He flirted, we got on well, however he was about to go on an overseas exchange so he asked to add me on Facebook and Snapchat. He messaged me a few times at the start and sent me a few snaps when he arrived in his new country of the surroundings etc, but we haven't been in any direct contact since then. Given we'd only just met and we are both shy/reserved people I didn't expect us to stay in ongoing contact while he was away for 4 months and I was fine with that, but I was (and still am) keen to see him again when he returns.

One thing I've noticed is he has viewed EVERY one of my frequent snapchat stories - about 20 different ones throughout the time he's been away - very quickly, like within 20-30 mins. Is this a good sign of interest? He's been posting a lot of pics to instagram on his travels which I've been liking fairly regularly so he must be able to tell I'm still kinda interested in him if that means anything. Thanks!

After work on Thursday, my workplace hosted a function at a pub. I started talking to this guy who has just started at my work this week. We hit it off straight away. After chatting for a while they called last drinks, so I went to get one for him and me, and he suggested we move to grab a seat on some couches. (Still plenty of our colleagues around at this stage). As we talked more, we seemed to have lots in common. When our work crowd had thinned and we were among the last people leaving, we walking in the same direction so decided to get something to eat before going home. We shared a pizza at a cool pizza restaurant and he insisted on paying (his justification was that he'd eaten more pizza than me). Then he walked me to my car, even though it was out of his way.

I added him on Facebook to invite him to a party I'm hosting and he accepted the add immediately. I saw him at work on Friday and we chatted again; he came to find me before he left, to say bye.

Is he just being friendly because he's new? I've never gotten on so well with a new colleague that we've been for dinner on the same day we met!

My work doesn't have a policy against coworkers dating and we're in different departments. I hold no power over him at work. He's four years younger than me (he's 23 or 24; I'm 27).

Do you think he might be *interested*?

So I'm kinda trying to get this guy to like me. I don't have him yet. So there's still time to decide. So I've been flirting around with this dude, I kinda watched him from afar for a long while, but one day he added me on facebook, and then a few days later I plucked up the courage to send him a message when we were both online at 1 am. We've been messaging whenever we can since. The other day he was playing a video game but kept messaging me anyway, and today he was at work and was messaging me on his breaks and stuff. (and even when he could find time throughout the day.) I did it as well. We're still pretty early into this flirting thing, but he's 27. And I JUST turned 19 a week ago. I still live with my parents and everything.
I just KNOW they would hate the age gap. I briefly dated a 22 year old when I was 18 and they thought that was a little too old but didn't try to argue about it or anything. But a three year difference is a lot different than an 8 year difference. Is 8 years too much? Should I give up on him and try for someone else?
