It's just, I'm not really allowed to drink. not old enough. I don't much, once every two weeks or so I do go out with my friends and sometimes I just get buzzed, but sometimes I get super wasted. Usually there's at least one of us that we have to physically hold up to get out to the car. But the guy I'm interested in doesn't drink at all. Ever. Doesn't smoke either, though I don't smoke either. This guy though has recently started going out with me and friends though, but like I said, he doesn't drink.
He goes and stands in a corner and kinda watches me and my friends, doesn't really talk to anyone except us either. I always feel so bad, because I feel like he doesn't have fun, but I also like him coming. But like the other night it was new years and I was in BAD shape. I mean I was happy, but I got sick, and he helped me to the bathroom (the bathrooms technically are gender labeled, but no one even listens to that.), he even got in the stall with me, and held my hair while I puked, and then I couldn't get up by myself so he held me upright and walked with me out of the club and then carried me the rest of the way to the car. (If I was seen being carried we would have gotten in A LOT of trouble.) Then he sat with me in the car and called my friends to tell them where we were and that we had to leave, so they came out. We had one other sober person with us to drive, so she drove, one friend sat in the front, another sat in the back, the dude got in the middle, and I sat by the window in case I got sick again. And he let me lean against him the whole ride, then when we got to my friends place he got me water, made me a spot on the couch and cuddled with me all night. And I was just like "I'm sooo sorry!" over and over all drunken like. I JUST FEEL SOO BAD! Because he doesn't drink, so he'll like always be taking care of me when I'm drunk and that's not fair to him, but I really like partying!

I have been close with this guy for a few months. We are both really bad at showing emotions, so we haven't actually talked about our feelings. However, we have had a few moments where it is clear that he really cares about me, whether it is as a friend or otherwise.

Then, we went to a party together and were really drunk. Earlier in the evening, a guy I had been with before pulled me aside to talk while I was hanging out with this friend. I told the guy we weren't going to be together again, and while we were talking this other girl was all over my friend, but he didn't let it happen. He and I left together to go to another party, and I thought we were going to bring other people, but he didn't tell anyone where we were going. He walked me home after the party, and was telling me about how the girl was all over him, and as soon as I mentioned how I told the other guy that I wasn't interested he stopped talking about her. Then he mentioned that he had made a rule with himself to not date anyone in our grad school class for the first year because they were his classmates, but sometimes that has been really hard. Then when he dropped me off at my apartment, we kind of just stood and looked at each other for a few seconds before I went inside alone.

I know his comment could've been about the other girl, however, she never hangs out with us, so I don't know why he would've said that it has been difficult to not date anyone in regards to her. Plus, he has no issues with people touching him when he's drunk except me. He won't let me hug him or anything, but other people he will allow to do that. Although that could be because he is repulsed by me.

I should note, that he is very classically attractive. I am overweight, and people say that I'm pretty, but I don't know how much I believe them. The other girl is blonde and petite, but he told me that he doesn't like how pushy she is.
