how long do i have to wait, bc i would like to move on if here's no chance but, i dont want to rush into a relationship.

i feel like if i tell him now and i explain im not ready to jump into something, he won't understand why i dont want to be with him,

OR he will think i expect to be with him and get scared off.

i also dont want to become a person who just thinks about HOW THEY FEEL AND NEVER DOES ANYTHING ABOUT IT.

we dated a month, i had never been into anyone nor dated. I was not ready for the feelings i had and i said i just anted be friends but then we both avoided each other.

then we tried hanging out but there was a lot of tension then undercurrent of animosity and we were anything but friends.

then a cooling off and we have been friendly for the past few months. we hang out together with friends.

almost went out a few times but we each had an excuse each time. my feelings are still there.

i don't want to ruin everything again b y getting in over my head, i STILL have no experience dating. or being in love, but i am, so a bit late to be worrying about that- so I don't know what to do.

also i want to see what happens if i'm honest. what kind of person he is and if he can handle it. and likewise, what kind of person i am and if i can handle it.

When we first started dating all he talked about was he was in this relationship to get married not date around. He asked me if I wanted to move in together. He said he changed his mind about not wanting to have kids. He said that when you meet the right person you know. Don't know when it happened but his conversation started to change. It wasn't moving in together it was him buying a house for his parents who he lives with. It wasn't that he wanted me to pursue the career path that I've chosen now he wanted me to make more money and not get help from my parents. He wants me to get an apartment near where he lives. I would be more financially capable if I had a roommate however he doesn't want me to have a roommate nor does he want to move in with me. Then two days ago my younger sister who's been dating her boyfriend for the exact same amount of time and who only see him on the weekends is engaged. I wanted to be happy but I felt so upset. How can her boyfriend propose to her when she relies on my parents and yet my boyfriend tells me he's not interested in getting married till I can pay my own rent. We had an argument. It left me feeling cold. He kept saying that he loved me but if I didn't think that this was the relationship that I wanted then maybe I should find someone else. He said that the only reason why he's not broken up with me is because I'm the nicest person he knows and the only one who excepts his busy schedule without complaint. he doesn't want to feel pressured. I'm starting to feel like me paying my own rent sounds like excuses for a man that doesn't see himself with me. They're things that I want in life. Im scared that if i stay we will be dating another 2 or 3 years or more and I wil still be living alone and waited to long to have a family. At this point I feel like our relationship isn't going anywhere. He works the same hours 7 days a week. He's not changed.

yesterday night me and my boyfriend were talking over the phone and we were discussing about his job interview next week. He wants a second job because his current job doesn't pay well and he wants to make enough money so he can move out to his own place. I understand that and if he gets the job, I will be happy for him. But then he mentioned that he doesn't mind taking 4 to 5 shifts a night. And then I got this idea in my head that "he won't have enough time for me" since he's working in the daytime and then would work at night. We see each other every 2 days and we talk everyday so I think Im scared that we won't be as close any more and so I took it out on him. And then he got extremely furious at the end. This was our conversation:
HIM: why are u thinking like this? I will make time for u. if a guy really likes someone he will make time so i will make time. i know myself
ME: i dont think u will. i just have a feeling. my friend and her boyfriend are on and off because of this
HIM: dont compare our relationship. we are all different. you are thinking about urself. u just want all the attention and its not fair. i need to think of my career first.
ME: ok... i think we need space for a week. we been talking everyday
HIM: *getting furious* WHAT THE F? why a week? are u interested in someone else? i thought we are seeing each other on Monday. i have a feeling u dnt want to be with me. if u dont just tell me and im out of your life. dont play games with me. im pissed. i will call later. bye.
Then he hanged up and then called me again
HIM: what do u want from me? do u want to break up?
ME: i dont know what i want.
HIM: *still furious but i can tell he was going to cry* why do u do this to me all the time? i dont know what u want. if u dont see me on Monday i will take it that ur not interested anymore and thats it. i will leave.
ME: yea i dont know..
HIM: look just see me on Monday. i will call u Sunday night. i will give u space tomoro. goodnight.
ME: ok ill see u on Monday. goodnite
