So I’ve been friends with this guy for about three years, when I first met him I instantly felt a really strong connection. I would consider the majority of our interactions pretty flirty the first few years. We have never even kissed but for some reason I keep getting mixed signals from him. Like I could be completely delusional, but I just wanted to see if it’s all in my head or not. He used to always rest his forehead on mine or on my face when we are at a party and while he was talking to me. He also used to grab my hand in social settings and just hold onto it for a few minutes. He’s been the one that was there to comfort me during a hard time. And always used to tell me how he loved how I’m always genuine and myself. Well anyways he has a girlfriend now, so obviously I’d never do anything to screw that up. But he constantly cheats on her and then tries to tell me it’s because she’s crazy and controlling. Yet he’s stayed in this relationship for two years. So obviously it’s bullshit. So with some of that background I guess I’m just wondering if he just sees me as a “bud” or maybe something more? I’m just confused because he doesn’t text me or try to see me but when I go out I always catch him staring at me, and recently when he saw me at a bar he grabbed my hand and held it while he was talking to his friend. I walked away but sometimes these actions make me wonder if he actually has a thing for me or not? Also he won’t let me meet his girlfriend, even though he has let girls he’s cheated with meet her. What’s up with that? I’m just confused tbh

When this guy and I first started talking he told me he didn't want to be exclusive and that he wasn't looking for a relationship, but now I am starting to think he might be catching feelings.

Reasons:
- He FaceTimes me to tell me about his day or about something that happened to him.
- We haven't gone a single day without talking, we consistently send each other memes.
- He has taken me out to get food before and has asked me to run errands with him.
- We don't always have sex, sometimes he just orders us food and we eat and watch YouTube together till we fall asleep.
- I'm the only person he's seriously talking to/hooking up with.
- I sleep at his house more than I sleep at my dorm, I am literally with him all the time.
- He invited me to his frat party and literally held my hand the whole night, danced with me (in a cute way) he'd twirl me around and stuff and he kissed me in front of everyone every chance he got and introduced me to people. My friends said he was showing me off.
- He has introduced me to his friends and all his roommates know me.
- Talks about doing stuff together months from now
- He is just really sweet to me in general, kisses my forehead, head, cheek, etc. and holds me close while we sleep.

He still hasn't explicitly said anything, so I am just going to keep seeing where things go... What are your thoughts? Do guys do this in all casual hook up/talking situations? I really like him:/
