So, I had tons of votes to tally up for yearbook and I was obviously going to stay after school. But, I wasn't going to have a ride home bc my parents wouldn't be able to pick me up until 3 hours after school dismissed.

My friend Carson offered to call in late for work in order to help me finish, but I insisted that he not do that. Before I knew it, he had dialed his boss's number and told me, "Ha, too late, I'm already calling her."

Luckily his boss didn't mind, and he stayed after school to help me finish up tallying votes. I was so thankful, and kept telling him that over and over, and he repeatedly told me "No, its fine."

He even drove me home.

On the way there, the topic of who he likes came up. He was telling me that his friend Amy likes him AGAIN, and seemed turned off by her persistence in asking who he likes. Amy has also been telling my other friends to get Carson to go to prom with her, but Amy is a promiscuous girl. Carson is way too innocent, nice, and sweet for her to corrupt, and my friends agree.

I even told Carson himself that he's too sweet and innocent for her and that they wouldn't be good together. I often call him a "cinnamon roll" bc of it. He thinks it's a funny nickname.

When we arrived at my house, I expressed how in debt to him I am. I told him "Carson, you're so nice it kills me. I feel bad bc you drive me everywhere and you're just so nice."

He replied, "Oh, no. It's fine. I get to go to work later now though, yay."

On a similar note, his mom works at our school as a teacher, and popped in to check on us when we were tallying votes and immediately said, "(my first name) (last name)!"

I was taken aback bc I've never had her as a teacher, and I don't really know her that well or see her at all yet she somehow knows my first and last name and feels comfortable enough to playfully shout it. I had no idea she knew who I was.
