Heard this topic on the radio today and was REALLY surprised how a lot of people voted against the idea of it. I’m personally all for period leave, because I’m a weak-ass person that has major cramps during the first days that hurt so much that I can’t even move and just overdose on dark chocolate 😂 What do you all think?

I've heard many women describe their period cramps as being stabbed millions of times in the Uterus, but to me it doesn't feel like that at all. It's feels more like a hydraulic press is crusing my Uterus.
Do you get cramps or not, and if so how would you describe the pain?

Usually I get painful cramps particularly only on my entire left leg during my period and my right leg would be totally fine. But this time it's different. I haven't started my period yet but my left leg is hurting for the last 5 days and my period is late by 5 days. Also my uterus hurts sometimes. Are these PMS symptoms common? Does anyone else experience this too?

This morning I randomly got a realllllly bad cramp in my crotch and stomach. I also felt like I was gonna be sick. It only lasted about 5 minutes though.
It couldn't have been a period cramp because I'm nowhere near my period & even my period pain (if I have it) usually doesn't usually hurt that much (although it's much more prolonged compared to the 5 minutes).

I figured maybe it was "mittelschmerz", pain that some women have during ovulation (about 2 weeks before their period)?

I did just get done having severe nausea for 1.5 weeks, but I think that was a virus because my mom got it too (and she's postmenopausal). So I think this is unrelated.

So have you experienced this sort of random, short-lasting, but severe pain in your crotch and lower stomach? If so, do you know what caused it?
