We went to high school together and we only talked in class. Well we go to the same college, and since we moved in 4 weeks ago we have been hanging out 3-5 days a week. I haven't made a move because I am very awkward when it comes to this stuff, and I was shocked this beautiful popular girl kept trying to hang out everyday (not putting myself down, just saying). Anyway, I realize I am falling for her. Problem is, we have developed a very good friendship. I feel that she has gotten very comfortable around me, and alhtough she sometimes gives hints, (the first couple weeks we hung out), I might be in the friendzone. She sits next to me instead of across at dinner, she takes snap chats with me, she says I need to take her to this dance, we hang out in eachothers rooms, etc. So I think I am in the friendzone, and I want to get out. Lately I have been trying to make more physical contact, like touching the arm, and teasing her. Today after we go to the gym I was planning on saying.

SHOULD I SAY THIS?
"Well name (while putting my hand on her shoulder), even if we are killing our arms and legs, you're always the highlight of my day."

I really really like this girl that was in one of my classes lat year. She sat next to me and I noticed she'd look at me occasionally but not too often. I'm super shy and I believe she is shy too. I was always to scared to look back at her much. When we'd laugh with the class which was quite often she would turn and look at me while laughing until I looked back. She also seemed to perk up and look when i was called on or mebtioned in class. But i dont think she really even looked at me that much. We've never talked. On and off she would look at me. One day her foot was almost touching me/my desk because crossed her legs far out and she's really tall. But when I caught her looking at me several times in the period she literally turned her body towards the wall she was right next to. Completely away from me. She did this a few times. Once I looked at her and she looked back, then I turned away, then she turned away, then I looked back, then she for a few times. After she looked at me and kinda giggled. But again good signs weren't very frequent. I'd think she likes me one day and the next think she doesn't at all. She never looked at me in the halls and we rarely passed each other. She also never looked at me at lunch except a couple times I noticed during the WHOLE year. We dont have a class together this year :( but I passed her in the halls one of the first days and we looked at each other for a couple seconds before we passed each other. No smile. Next couple weeks she gave me super fast glances in the hall and now they have stopped. I noticed a week in or so her lunch table was all of a sudden by mine. I looked around the lunch room before and hadn't seen her though. But she sat on the side where her back was to me and so did I so we're back to back. One day I sit on the other side, next day she does the same and looks at me like once or twice. Back to the other side she went and and I stayed and she still never looks at me. Sorry it's long and lame but thoughts?

I have this best friend girl (loraine) in my class so we even tell eachother love you over text messages , we talk about everything and anything. I have often noticed that whenever we hangout with our friends she likes to sit next to me , she keeps her legs touching against mine which i'm aware of and enjoy too infact but don't know if she's consciously doing it not to forget her ocassional pinches , poking my tummy which is ofcourse flabby.

Just today one of our common friends (girl) was sitting together with us asks me hey! do you think you wanna date loraine? I was like emmmmm with a shy face and loraine was listening to all this and merely smiled and after a while. This common friend of ours goes like hey! loraine you guys are a great couple i mean you both keep fighing like couples I think you should go on a date so she's like smiling and says he's my best friend and I already have two guys who I sorta like so he's a best friend. Then this common friend says so add him also to those two guys cuz you guys would make a great couple she smiles and then says hey do you wanna talk about something else? Lol

What do you think is going on in her head? Do you think she's interested in me for more than a friend or just happens to be a close best friend.
