There's this coworker I like. We flirt a lotttttt but the other day, a male customer comes in and starts hitting on me. Complimenting me, asking if he can have my number, etc. When I walked away my coworker starts picking on me about it. "Damn he hasn't broken his stare yet... what kinda spell did you put on him" & etc. Also, he sort of encourages me to go after him: "He seemed nice... why didn't you give him your number? I didn't see anything wrong with him." Does he not have any feelings for me since he was sort of being a wing man for the guy? Or was he just sucking it up and playing along with the situation?

Okay, so if anyone following me reads this, then they know that I work as a cashier. If you don't follow me, then now you know.

So I was working, doing my cashier things. And apart of my job is greeting the customers, telling them to have a nice day, just being hospitable even when I wanna slap the friggin eyebrows off them.
Now I'm a little woman. Not even five feet tall, and I have yet to reach even 90 pounds. (Don't worry, I don't look unhealthy). And my voice is pretty high pitched, but also soft? Someone told me awhile ago I have a very "bell like" voice. Can't remember who though...

ANYWAY, so a woman came through, she had two dudes with her. A boy who looked like my age, and then what I assume to be his younger brother. I greeted them, started ringing up their stuff. Guy my age starts putting stuff in the buggy, I thank him. He smiled at me and is like "I like your voice. It's very sweet sounding." Threw me off honestly. I've been flirted with before, some because they were trying to steal, some because they'll try to sleep with anything they believe to be female. But THAT is not the compliment I usually get. Usually it's like "You've got such pretty hair". Or "You're just adorable/beautiful/ect."

But now I'm like "Oh, is that like, a thing guys pay attention?" But I also know that I've had guy friends who used to have crushes on Rachel Ray, and they used to talk about how "sexy" her voice sounded.

SO I WOULD LIKE TO POLL THIS.

Okay so I'm a Cashier. And there was a guy who helped me bag on a busy day. He works in one of the back departments though so our paths had NEVER crossed before this.
Now usually I personally HATE when people try to help me bag. Like I never say anything, and I do genuinely appreciate them trying to help. But I always feel like I'm being slowed down because I have to wait for them to get things in the bag after I scan things because it's a lot faster to just scan something than actually put it in the bag. Not with this guy. We somehow found a pretty good pattern after just a couple minutes of working together.

After that day, even though I'd NEVER seen him before, suddenly I see him almost every day. When he goes to use bathroom, he uses the front ones now, where as the department he works at is closer to the back ones. He comes to front during his breaks now. He's winked at me before, and occasionally makes a face at me while I'm working to make me laugh. Before he leaves, he stops by my register and holds my hand for a moment. Today he even came to MY register to check out some groceries. And I was honestly THRILLED about it. But I was doing that like "Be cool" thing in my head. Until it was his turn that is and then he was just standing there making me laugh my little butt off. I was grinning for HOURS after he'd gone home. But I mention that because, it wasn't busy, he could have gone to any other register and gotten the same wait.

And another time, he had said good-bye to me, and then like an hour later I saw him again while I was pushing carts to customer service. And his mother works up front with me, and I smiled at the dude, he smiled and winked right at me. His mother was like "I SEE YOU FLIRTING" to him, and I was like "I thought you left an hour ago". He told me that something had come up, and his mother was like "A girl! A girl hold him up!" and he got all red and left then. But I don't actually know if she was talking about me or not.

I work at a grocery store and I like this guy who I hope is interested in me as well. Today I was checking out with a guy customer who was probably about our age and when I was done I was walking back towards the front of my register to wait for more customers and the guy I like had walked by while I was with the customer and I said hey to the guy I like and so after he said hi to me again as I'm standing here and goes "that guy likes you awww" and I was like uhhhh awkward laugh like haha oh yeah funny but he was like did you notice? He even did the hair flip and he demonstrates it for me lol an I'm like hmmm... did he notice cause he's like these guys are talking to her cause I don't think just anyone would say something about it right? Whenever he bags groceries for me he will randomly start cracking up and smiles a lot while he talks to me and laughs at a lot of what I say. Is he interested and that's why he noticed another guy flirting with me? I also made sure to tell him I wasn't interested in the customer in that way lol let me know your thoughts thanks!!

Now I don't mean like the big boss or anything. But like, I work in a retail store, and there is a bunch of Customer Service Managers. One of them is a 21 year old very attractive man. (though he does look older, I originally though he was 25-28)

Anyway, I've kind of been "flirting" with him I guess. Like I compliment him a lot, and try not to stare at him when I see him. He seems very flattered by the attention, but I don't think HE knows I'm flirting with him. Though I'm almost positive that one of the other managers knows I have a crush on him, though she doesn't seem to have any sort of issue with it. That said she's super chill. (all our managers are except one who everyone STRONGLY dislikes).

But is this just way to inappropriate? I REALLY like him so it's hard NOT to at least compliment him.
