Christina Hoff Sommers is a critical Feminist of sorts, who identifies with the word "Feminism", but is skeptical of what can be considered its more outlandish claims.

I'm curious to see what people think of her.

Personally, I like that she puts a different face on feminism. One that is more interested in fact-checking.

I used to be in feminist and LGBT groups, and eventually left because of how far down the rabbit hole they would go.

We were told we like nice girls because "We subconsciously seek domination and violence towards all aspects of our lives."

Or people would talk about how men objectify women by talking about boobs, but then lesbian couples were basically free to make as raunchy of sexual comments as they wanted.

In my sociology class, the guys had to stand up and say the "pledge of allegiance to women." Which was the point I was about ready to call it quits.

But then my friends talked about how their class was reading "The Natural Superiority of Women."

At that point, I felt Feminism, left to full artistic freedom (by now, it's more of a theatrical art than an actual science), would ultimately shoot women's rights in the foot. That so long as it accepts its extremists as its own, or even "justified", people would think women's rights is about man-hating. I wanted none of it.

While I don't identify as "A feminist", I'm also not anti-feminist. And I think we need more discussions like Sommers' fact-checking video series, though perhaps with a little more balance than she sometimes gives.

What do you guys think of Sommers? Feel free to be honest.

It's a recent discovery I've made, I have 2 different and opposite personalities.

There are days that I would be absolutely positive about most things, appreciating the things I have in my life and would feel really happy and really content - and there are days I feel the exact opposite, I can be very negative, very critical of everything just depending on the day. Let's just say on some days, I'm very well liked, and the opposite happens too, from time to time.

In the past I have had a couple of break-ups where the girl ended up telling me that "It seems that I really don't know who you are and what you're like". At that time I wasn't aware of the fact that I may have different personalities, but if I guess, let the girl know from the start, would girls be okay with it or even find it fun?
