I often hear from a lot of other Non-Cuban Latinos how Cubans are the snobbiest and most racist Latin Americans out of the rest, supposedly even snobbier than Argentinians. I've got one Mexican friend who absolutely can't stand Cubans because of his negative and racist personal experience with them and also because he they felt that Cubans were handed US citizenship to them on a silver platter because of their refugee status or "Wet Foot, Dry Foot" policy while the rest of Latin-American immigrants (with the exception of Puerto Rico) has to give up an arm or leg to even be considered for US citizenship or permanent residency. The same Mexican friend also felt that now that the "Wet foot, dry foot" policy has now been abolished and Cubans now have to go through Mexico to make it to the US, he looks at this as "Karma" towards them for their racist and snobby attitudes.

Now, don't take this offensive, I'm not trying to generalize all Cubans or say that my Mexican friend speaks for the rest of the Non-Cuban Latinos' feelings toward Cubans/Cuban-Americans but just wondering if this is really the general consensus of Cubans from people who have personally encountered them. I've honestly never met a Cuban person but I'm sure they're not bad like many people I personally know, make them out to be.
