Search Results: i need some closure

So I met a guy on a dating website. He lives about two hours from me so I thought it was going to be a pain in the ass but he kept pursuing me with these amazing emails and then we moved to texting for a month before we met. We were just supposed to get brunch but it turned into a 12 hour date. It was possibly the best date of my life and it ended with a really intense make out session that he initiated. We said our goodbyes and when he got home he texted me told me he couldn't wait to see me again. He told me he was going on trip/vacation for 2.5 weeks and would want to get together upon his return. He has been gone 3 weeks now and I haven't gotten any communication from him while he's been gone. This is odd as we used to text every day and very intensely, but I did see it dropping off towards the end. I logged onto the dating site though and noticed that while he was on the trip he changed his dating profile location to city he was in while traveling. He returned a few days ago and I only know this because he had set the location on the dating site back. Now I know it was only one date, but it was intense and he told me how much he likes me before he left. I'm not sure whether to cut my losses now and move on or if I should reach out. I got angry and removed him off my Facebook a few days ago when I saw that he was back and still hadn't contacted me (I know, so mature) but it's his birthday next week and I"m wondering if I should wish him a happy birthday? Am I thinking about this too much and is it just really clear as day that he has no interest in me? I guess I just need some closure to move on if I have to do that. I'm wondering if I should reach out, or save my dignity and let sleeping dogs lie.
