I want to meet up with this girl that I fancy but I have never had a 1 on 1 conversation with her, I know her from friends of friends and she seems awesome. Am I better to message her on FB (we aren't friends) or should I talk to some of her friends (on Facebook, uni break atm)? I don't know what to do because it is usually seen as creepy or weird when a guy starts talking to a girl out of the blue and I'm not trying to be like that. And no I don't want to hook up or anything I genuinely just want to meet her.

I am 14 in 8th grade. Well since last year this girl talked to me and asked me who I liked. Then I sat next to her in science. Well she'd laugh at stuff I say. When we stopped sitting next to each other I could see her staring at me often when I was walking. I have seen her stare from far away. Well my friend told her that I said she flirted with me and she got defensive and said something like its gross but her body language says otherwise. Well she whispered to her friend they both giggled and she said my name I said what and she said nevermind. I said someone's annoying and she said I'm annoying. Well then this year she started getting moody but she'd walk up to me and stare me in the eyes we did that multiple times we had long eye contact. She was doing the dishes in home economics paused and held long eye contact with me from 15 feet away or so. At lunch she secretly stares at me and when I was in the lunch line. I was minding my own business and a guy I sat next to told me she likes me she keeps staring at me. When I was doing my work in class she tapped my foot with her foot. One time she sat behind me and rubbed her knees up against my back. She touched my arm while talking to me once. I was behind her in a seat and she bent her neck to make eye contact at me. She saw me checking out an older girl and she was in the way so she kept leaning to block my view and smiled. She was sitting and there was a seat open she looked at me but I talked to other girls. When I was talking to other girls and showed them something she had an attitude and said "Idc". I talked to her over Facebook messenger and said if you need a friend I'm always there. But one time I tapped her shoulder she said don't touch me. I saw her tickle fight with another boy. She has a rep for being moody.
