A girl I really like has a boyfriend, or at least last I heard. I asked her out back in December and she said she had a boyfriend, and the last full conversation we had, he came up in the conversation.
She's been flirting with me since I asked her out. I don't know if it's her just wanting attention or something, but I've heard her relationship with him isn't a good one.
We've interracted a lot recently, and my friends say I should ask her to hang out or something. But my question is, shouldn't she tell me in some way she's single now?

There was this really cute girl I would see at work from time to time. After some basic conversation, I went up to her and asked if she was seeing anyone, and she said she was. So I said he was lucky and she giggled and we both walked apart.

Now she is usually flirting pretty hard with me. To the point others have noticed. But she has a boyfriend, and last I've heard, they are still together and unhappy.

My friends said I screwed up, and I didn't actually ask her out and I should have still asked to go out or hang out.

Did I mess it up? What do I do now?

She's an ex classmate of mine and it sucks because I think there's potential between us but she seems to be playing a very tiresome game. We went out last weekend with mutual friends and hit things off (she was flirting with me hardcore and we were really having a great time) but then suddenly she drops the bomb that she has a boyfriend even though she has never put out a hint of that before. She also gets very triggered when I'm out with my female friends and will send me tons of texts to ensure I'm thinking of her. I'm not entirely sure if it's worth it anymore.
