First, I know for sure there will be those people saying that texting is not over real communication. Yes, I know that and don't want to see any opinions about it. But, in this generation and especially in High School with our busy lives averaging us 5-6 hours of sleep it is much easier to have a conversation over text.
Every article I see bashing someone about texting it is always a guy that is being bashed. Everyone claims girls are so much better at texting, and they all assume guys are such bad texters because we are more occupied by a videogame or something. Well, I for one know a lot of bad female texters, from the one word replier to the no question asker, I have seen a lot. I thought maybe it was just me, but it turns out that's how they talk to everyone. And ofc, i can't just tell them they aren't good at texting because it is kinda rude and girls don't like being told that. Not trying to make this a gender war or anything, but just trying to see the opinions. Please, Give an example of one of the worst texters you have come across it can be any gender no matter what gender you are.
My Example:
A female friend of mine, her record of most words in a text is 15. She averages about 3-5 words (a lot of one word texts) per text so, it is a big improvement. Unfortunately, it was only because i asked a question about homework and she had to ask me what i was talking about. And don't worry i checked it is everyone not just me, even to her boyfriend but she adds a bit more words sometimes.

My ex from 2 years ago is celebrating her 21st birthday tonight. I wasn't invited because some of the people going don't get along with me. Now here's the thing; when we broke up 2 years ago we made a proposition with each other: If in a few years time we don't find anyone that brings as much joy or happiness, we start fresh and try dating again, not a reunion, but a true restart. Well, she's dated quite a few scumbags and guys who just weren't mature. I've dated some girls that ended up crazy, cheaters, but one made me decently happy, alas our paths separated, and I've been alone since then. I gave the proposition to her and she said she thought it might be worth a shot.

I know we're not dating or exclusive yet, but is it okay that I'm jealous that I wasn't invited to her main bash - we went out drinking last night - and other guys were?

I know both men and women have their own problems and difficulties regarding dating. But when it comes to 'impressing' someone of the opposite gender, women certainly have it easier.

Men usually know precisely what they want from a woman (such as looks, personality, status etc. or a combination of these), so they only approach women who fit their description of a desirable women. So women don't really need to go out of their way to impress men, because the men who desire a woman of their 'type' will approach them anyway, and other men wouldn't bother with it. Hence, whatever women do to impress men, it will not usually change the opinion of men who may or may not want to approach them.

But most women don't really know what to expect from a partner. They're really confused about it, and often mix things up. Even if a man is able to 'attract' a woman, it may only turn out to be an illusion because the woman often doesn't know what she wants from a partner and ends up saying 'you're not my type' or something similar after a while. Initially she may be under the illusion that she's 'impressed', but soon realizes that this man isn't the 'type' she would want because she herself is confused about what she wants.
