I've been together with my boyfriend for 2 years. I knew he was best friends with his ex. They dated around 2 months when they first met. Since that happened like 10 years ago, I didn't really pay attention to it. Up until over the course of 2 years, she was showing a lot of fishy signs and red flags here and there. I don't want to go too detailed but, it's obvious that she still has feelings for him.

I trust my boyfriend and it's not about him. It's clear for me to see that he doesn't have feelings for her. He doesn't find her attractive anymore & doesn't care about her feelings. Couple of his exes told him the same thing. She still has feelings for him. He just doesn't care if she has feelings for him because she's getting nothing out of it. He thought it was okay to keep her around just because of that. Since, they've known each other for 10 years, it is a long friendship.

I had a talk with my boyfriend about this situation. Problem, she asks him out "alone" a lot. He would go if he's bored. That makes me really uncomfortable since he's hanging out with this girl that has feelings for him. And they had history! She doesn't like me because of that. If that was me, he said he would be questioning a lot & won't be very happy about it. He would want me to cut him out. We concluded to cut her out. If they keep in contact, she would just cause issues. In other words, she has feelings for him, wants to hang out with my man alone, & diss me.

He doesn't care about her & completely fine cutting her out. He actually think he should because now that he think about it, she was a problem with all his past relationships. He said he was being oblivious but mainly, he doesn't care about her feelings/what she felt about him.

I do feel guilty because he is doing this for us. It's not in my nature to do something like that. He's known her for 10 years & that's a long time. But, I am very happy he made that decision. But I feel bad :(

So my best friend was dating this kid for almost 2 years but they broke up about 6 months ago. After they broke up I helped to set her up with the guy she is currently dating. At the time I was dating someone else but since then me and that person have broken up. After me and that person broke up I didn't have a date to prom anymore so my best friend set me up with her ex so I had a date. I never thought I'd start to like him but we've been talking for a little over a month now and have been hanging out the past couple weeks. As soon as I started to develop feelings for him I told my best friend because I felt extremely guilty about it. Since then she been acting like nothing is wrong but has also been making rude little comments about things. Not only that but somehow she finds out that we're going to hang out before we even do and neither me or my prom date tell her so we have no clue how she has been finding out. Well my prom date and I hung out again last night and when we did he kissed me and asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes. Was it wrong for me to start dating him even though my best friend has a new boyfriend and was the one to set us up in the first place?

Same old stupid story I'm afraid... I was convinced to send some naked pics to my boyfriend (now ex) and I'm terrified they will "someday" get out. It's been a little over a year since the breakup but I'm going to be a nurse and I can't have these possibly hanging over my head and costing me a job. He's only tried to contact me once since then and only said hi, no threats, but I'm still so worried. Please help put my mind at ease? Am I just being paranoid or do you think there is a ligitiment cause for worry here and I need help?
