So if he can be there even when she's uncomfortable with him seeing her bleeding everywhere, screaming, crying, vomiting, and defecating herself...
Should she be able to make him be there even if he's the one who's uncomfortable seeing that?

I personally think the mother's comfort is paramount because the stress and anxiety can cause complications which can harm the baby.

But I don't think the father should be in the room if either mother or father is uncomfortable with it. It would hinder the delivery process.
