There's this very shy guy that I like and a few weeks ago a couple of friends and I were over at his place and he mentioned me repeatedly as a character in a writing game and later apologized for it to which I replied in a flirty manner and we continued to write for a couple of days. When we met again, we barely talked but the two times after that we walked home alone (or a part of the way really) and he hugged me in the end both times (after asking if I was alright with it), texted me while I drove home, asked me if I'd arrived home safely and even offered me to stay over at his place. Okay. Here's the situation. We first met through a summer job and ended up getting along well. The summer job was only about 3 weeks, and a few days ago was my last shift. On the last day, he asked if I wanted to "hang out" downtown. I said yes. Later on, I found out he actually had a girlfriend. At that point, I was confused as to whether he was interested in me romantically or just as a friend. He was sending me mixed signals. Yesterday, we hung out. But it was AWKWARD. We for some reason had not a lot to talk about. At some points I had a feeling that he regretted asking me to hang out.

Fast forward to today, I messaged him saying that I had fun (kind of a lie, I was nervous the entire time). He messaged back saying that we should hang out again.
