i met this guy first day of summer last year. It was online. But I saw him before from afar and stalked him online years before. Since we met online, this past year we've spoken hours and hours and hours online, like literally had nights where we talked sun down to sun up and didn't sleep. In person I've only stayed at his house overnight in the winter once. For 12 hours we stayed up and talked all night, no intimacy. It was mid winter. He's very introverted like me, he doesn't socialize and we're kinda punk, loners. He mentioned it had been years since he had a girl over, (he's genuine btw). We both have very busy schedules. He works 6 days a week and I'm at school all week with studies on the weekend. We live 45 minutes apart and our schedules kept conflicting. He also doesn't have a car. Months later, here we are trying again. I'll be out of school in a couple weeks with an open schedule. He reached out to me first, after not speaking for months, saying he hoped I was doing well, etc. This was a month ago, since then we have talked online for a couple hours here and there. Last week, I mentioned I would like to see him and he responded he definitely would too. we chatted some, now it has been a couple days.

Is this all in my head or is this leading to something? Do we have something going on or are we still as good as strangers?

My boyfriend knew this girl in year 12 and she moved back to her country. She messaged him 8 months into our relationship and since then (we've been together 1.5 years) they've had 6 facebook conversations. I said to him that I'm more important not someone who lives on the other side of the world, and cos i don't like that she's a girl, he shouldn't stay in contact with her. He said that they've always kept in contact since 2012, he said sometimes they wouldn't talk for months, then they'd talk for a week and so on, there's been no flirting and she was also friends with is ex. He says that he can't just neglect her because she's a female and she doesn't have bad intentions & its also nice to keep in contact. He said i can always read their messages if i like. I got very offended when she messaged him like twice within 10 days because in my mind i think "why does she think its ok to message MY boyfriend." their convos normally last 2-3 days as there is a 9 hour time difference so its not like they speak ALL day and eventually the convo ends. Do u think that someone can just be genuinely nice and want to stay in contact? maybe she thinks I'm nice and chilled so she doesn't think its a big deal to occasionally chat or catch up on life. He's only ever messaged her first TWICE in 1.5 years. Once it was about tennis which created a convo, then the second time he sent her an article about her country. So you do guys think its okay to keep in contact with someone over Facebook messenger and from time to time have a conversation with them
