Personally, I'm very anti-reclining during short-haul flights (less than 4 hours). If you're booking economy, you just have to suck it up and sit up straight. You're an adult, not a baby. You can sit up straight for 2 or 3 hours. People who recline during short flights are assholes. I'm not tall, but I hate having my face so close to the screen I could kiss it. It makes me feel so claustrophobic. When people recline, my legs are fine but I need all the head space I have purchased for. It's mine and recliners steal it from me. I will dig my knee or my water bottle into your butt quite often if you recline lol I will make it very uncomfortable for you, just like you make the flight very uncomfortable for me. If you want to be such a big baby, you should pay more and book first class. Don't invade other people's space.

On longer flights, I'm more understanding and tolerant about people reclining.
