We met while I was on vacation looking at places in his state we spend almost every day together and he told me how much he liked me and he didn't want what we had to be just a "fling" we texted 24/7 nearly and I arranged to fly back and visit we both got busy and stopped texting as much and he admitted he preferred talking on the phone so we called like once a day when I flew down to visit we got intimate and had sex we spend several days together at a hotel I met his entire family while I was down there and was there for some pretty big family events including a birth. He got really freaked out and I was too thinking we should be in a relationship for that kind of stuff. He started backing away stating things were moving to quick and he couldn't give me all that I needed being so far away he couldn't give me the time love and attention I deserved being at a distance and that we barely knew each other we have been talking for 2 months now. He stated we needed to slow down and that he won't do long distance and can't fully commit to me because being "exclusive is the same as a relationship" but wants to see where this potentially goes when I move out there his parents love me. I just don't know if he lead me on and used me or if its more that he can't commit and can't do long distance because its to much without being intimate with someone. Im just really confused. He text me good morning every day and calls me occasionally as well. So I've known him for over 2 months and Im moving down there in two months but I'm almost certain he's keeping his options open. I just don't know if i should keep trying and see where this goes or if he's used me and now is just keeping me around till something comes along.
