Search Results: do guys like sarcasm

I'm asking this question because I feel (and know) that I can be this "difficult person" sometimes!

However I feel people are too scared to tell me or even hint to me that I'm being bothersome or a nuisance.

Only a few close family members, a few friends and my exes brought this to my attention. Some of the points they mentioned about me were:

*being combative (as in if somebody "hints" at something about me I'll directly ask them about it in the form of a ? in a "in your face" non-suttle type of fashion, making people uncomfortable)

*overly analytical (as in I carry a conversation topic into such precision and detail that I go over ppl's heads and dumbfound them and simultaneously "kill" the conversation topic)

*to people that don't know me well, come of as arrogant or as an intellectual bully because of the point listed above in combination with my confidence level

*doing sarcasm TOO well (I love sarcasm and playfully teasing ppl!), as in my body language and face are so stoic when I say sarcasm and playfully tease, that far too often people think I'm being a dick when I'm trying to be funny; so irritating

*that although I'm told I'm a friendly, charismatic and charming guy, I tend to be very socially nice-aggressive and poignant to point that it's like I put sales pressure on people to like me or "guilt them into not being able to reject me". As the saying goes, I "lay it on thick".

*I'm a very factual "black and white" person; I don't like ANYTHING being left open for alternative interpretation. I'm the type to ask "Is that a yes or a no?" if someone gives an answer to a question without explicitly say the word "yes" or "no". I like to bond people to their words and am not shy about mentioning a discrepancy about something someone said days or weeks or even months ago based on pure principle alone.

Sorry for the rant (although it felt good!).

1) Do you know a person that falls into one or more of those points?

2) How do you conduct yourself around and handle social situations with this person?
