Not to bash the US as a country or anything since it's still a great country with a nice constitution and all but I've travelled to many different countries from Europe to Latin America and no country compares to the US when it comes to race-baiting, racial segregation and obsession with racial differences in general. In Norway, despite me clearly looking foreign to their country, my racial appearance does play a little bit of a factor in the country but not as much as in the US. It's more my accent, my language and my name that really gets me questions from Norwegian locals.

While there are some hostility against Muslims in Western Europe due to many fake refugees (from many Muslim countries) coming to their countries to cause problems rather than to actually contribute to the country, respect the locals and the country itself and simply be grateful that they were even granted citizenship in the first place, I've never heard of a single race-related issue coming when I visited these European countries (regarding black people or Non-Whites), compared to the US, where they complain about Black people (along with many other Non-White racial and ethnic groups) causing crimes or any problems in the country (US).

She was talking to me a bit about her religion & how they treat men differently where she's from.

She said in her country they appreciate everything about a man
They appreciate the masculinity, the beauty , his body, all of his body...

She said she/they just love everything about a man & sex with the man is powerful because thats another was he shows his love by having sex with her & raising kids with her..

I asked her about dating someone Like this, but she said 99% of the time it isn't possible because of race/religion etc.

She also said just because women treat men like this doesn't mean men can treat them like shit, if the man does it could result in very harsh punishment by the wives family.

I really want to learn Japanese, but unfortunately my school only offers Spanish as foreign language studies. When I go back to school after summer vacation, I'll be taking my second year of Spanish.

The thing is, I'm not serious about learning Spanish AT ALL. I'm only taking the class for the credits, and because I need 2 years of a foreign language class for most universities.

However, I am actually motivated to learn Japanese, and am willing to do so on my own time. I'll have to teach to myself or take online lessons or something, because again, my school only offers Spanish.

So if I were to learn Spanish in class while I learn Japanese at home, would I be at risk of mixing them up and hindering my learning of both languages? In Spanish class, I'll only need to memorize a vocabulary list every week or every other week so I can get the grade on that week's test. Then I'll forget all about them. However, the Japanese words I learn I want to remember.

Anyway, what do you think of this plan?
