So I’ve had this on and off situation with this guy for about 6/7 years now, I really like him but I tend to push him away because I just don’t think we can work or I’ll end up hurt because he is the type of guy who does what he wants. He has always forgiven me if I have had a psycho outburst moment and he’s probably the only guy that’s ever done that’s the rest have always ran for the hills. I told him that I have only acted that way with jimmy and he asked “ why is that then “ ? I couldn’t tell him the real reason because I care about him a lot and it scares me so I just made up something. I don’t really do the whole outburst thing anymore cause I’ve gone to talk to someone about my insecurities and stuff so we’ve been getting along great. Anyway lately he keeps joking that my mam will love him and what our kids will be called etc. it’s thrown he off a bit cause he said the thing about the kids names last night and he was looking for a reaction off me but I just brushed it off. Is this a fuckboy move or what? Do you joke like this to get a girl thinking that you’re looking for something serious when your not?

I have been getting to know a guy, we have been dating on and off for months now. Last night we hung out and he said something to me he has never said before. His best friend is his roommate. He doesn’t really see him anymore since his friend has a girlfriend now.
When he was talking about it yesterday he told me he feels that his friends life is all about his girlfriend now. He said, when that happens, that’s when people tend to get hurt.
I kind of feel that’s why he’s worried about fully committing to us. Like he doesn’t want to get too attached to me because he doesn’t want to get hurt.
Could that be true? Is he scared of commitment and getting hurt?
