Search Results: why are humans on earth

Like when someone say "Im old fashioned when it comes to dating" doesn't the true essence of that statement correlates to a mind that bases their mode of action (likes, dislikes, emotional responses to things, emotional temperament, ways of engaging) based on previous mode of actions that have already been formulated by previous human beings that lived on this earth? Like why can't a person like that come up with their own way of life? Instead of using other people's 'life templates', as I like to call them.

There is no right or wrong answer, just your answer.

So can we, as human beings find a way to reach the stars of other galaxies, find adaptable planets and build a new home, before its too late? Why or why not?

Don't you think that it's very SELFISH to want to have children?don't missunderstand me,i LOVE kids,but I don't want to have any,because this life is full of physical and mental pain and I don't want to be the reason for the suffering of a human being;think about it,people have children and one day they die and leave them and then they cry and suffer(I suffered and cried a lot the day my father and mother died,so why would I want to produce a human being who will suffer the day of my death!),of course this is just an example amongst too many others.another important example is the day when someone dies,i know too many people who spent in their beds months and months before they died,and during thoses months the pain was HUGE!so why would I want to produce a human beeing knowing he could suffer during months in bed before he dies!

my life is full of suffering,i wish I were never born,that would be very hypocitical from me to want children.

So please can you convince me that producing children is not selfish?any logical argument?
