From what I know he apologized to his ex already and they continued to talk (even while we were in a relationship) and they still had feelings for each other and might still be talking now or involved since we broke up. We have a son together and I haven't reached out to my son father in 2 months. One of the songs he posted are about a man hurting a woman he was best friends with and he's apologetic to (him and I was best friends before our son and relationship) and the other song is about a man emotionally damaged and trying to forget this woman altogether though she loves him and he's acknowledging that he hurt her but needs her to understand that he's damaged and it's not her fault.

My ex and I have a son together, he's both our first born. My ex and I had a tumultuous relationship and sadly I stayed after a lot of disrespect/abuse and would reach out to him and told him I missed him and wanted to be a family only for him to reject me and further disrespect me. Since then I've moved on and have self love and respect for myself. We do not talk at all.
