A few months ago, I graduated from college with a degree in engineering. The company I was working for full-time laid me off over a month ago and I've been scrambling to find work related to my field ever since. I was about to move out of my parents' place and put a down payment on a car, then the company laid me off. I've been down on my luck and frankly a bit depressed.

My friend suggested that I try dating and flirting to distract myself. I have a problem with this, because, I don't have work, a car or a place of my own right now and would never normally think it was okay to try dating without having at least steady work. Thus far, I was almost engaged in the past and have had many shorter, less pleasant relationships. I'm a virgin by choice- I don't want to wait for marriage or anything, I just didn't feel the spark with any of my exes. I'm conflicted and want a little advice from outside.

I've never been able to take a girls V-card but have managed to knock a girl up, have a kid, and get married.

I feel like a lesser man who only gets leftovers in life. I've had a few partners but all of them were not virgins.

Fortunately, I got some money and got a great job so I'm ok when it comes to supporting my kid.

Whats a Bigger Deal? Taking a girls V-Card or Having kids?

So this is kind of embaressing to say. I'm 18 years old still a virgin never had a girlfriend and I haven't even kissed a girl. I'm a really nice guy sociable and what not and I'm usually good at making friends regardless of gender I'm just a bit shy especially with someone I dont know too well and I'm not exactly the most handsome guy on the block (though I wouldn't say I'm the ugliest either). I'm just really mediocre I guess when you add it all up :(. I would absolutely not say I'm desperate far from it it's just a bit sad to feel like you will probably end up dying alone and what not.

Do you think this lack of experience up until my age and sadly probably into my early 20s (I dont see myself being able to get a girlfriend any time soon) will make me even less desireable than I already am and less likely to ever get a girlfriend. I mean girls generaly want guys more experienced than them and absolutely not the other way around. Pleas be brutaly honest it's not like I'm not gonna find out ;).
