So these are the types of 1st emails I've been sending out on online dating sites with absolutely no responses:

Would you respond to this email? Also could you maybe tell me (in your opinion) why do you think this is a horrible 1st email and maybe what I should do differently to get responses please? Thank you in advance for any feedback!

I asked this question, because after observing my fellow gender-mates during my HS and college years, as well as being on this site for almost 3 years now...

...i run across many guys that don't seem to genuinely LIKE the female gender.

I notice the attitude and demeanor some guys have in regards to talking about women, and to me, they seem to talk to women not because they enjoy talking to women...

...

...but because they want sex and/or companionship, and conversing with them is just "a means to an end".

I find this extremely sad that there are so many misogynistic guys in the dating game...yet they want people of a gender they genuinely dislike (or at best, toleration) to have sex with them or date or even marry you?

*shrug*

So to my fellow males (and girls can chime in, too), do you genuinely like the female gender, as in the way they are that is different and complimentary to the male gender...

...or do you simply at best tolerate them just to get what you want (sex / companionship in some sort)?

There are many people (some on this site as well; I've been here on GaG for awhile) that seem to get SO OFFENDED when they're asked about why they abstain from dating certain races of people, EVEN IF they are attracted to the person's looks and personality.

I understand reasons such as heavy clashing of culture (raising a family, marriage, sexuality, etc.), or not finding many people attractive of a certain race. That I understand.

These people will say thing such as "i like to stick to my own kind", or "i just don't like (insert race) guys/girls", or my FAVORITE cop-out reason..."it's my preference".

To be blunt, I truly, sincerely, 100% believe, that people of both genders that have this defensive attitude of stark offense in regards to dating a person of a certain race,

are either "stuck on the social stereotypes" of that race, or truly are racist towards that group to a certain degree.

The idea of "cyber-stalking" (aka, online "friend" starts "stalking" you in real life), is something that is talked about in the media, but I'm curious about how much it really does happen in real life.

I've heard stories about a girl I know who was casually talking to a guy on a dating site she just met a few days before, and he "investigated" her to find out where she worked, and sent her flowers to her workplace and gifts to her house.

She was literally scared. :-X
