It's been over 3 years since I've dated. Over the past 6 months, I've been with 5 different girls (3 from past univ, & 2 from outside of univ.) With the first girl I was hitting on, I some-what liked her & decided to pursue her; little did I know, she was seeing some other guy via saw them together dining at the cafeteria. Then all hell broke loose with three other girls (one said she wasn't interested in anyone nor dating except I saw right through her that she had a thing for another guy.) Currently, this girl is co-worker for my dad's place & we're pretty chill about everything...

However, it's this part of my instinct that says to step back before I land myself into another mud-pile. And this isn't the first time my instincts popped up; the other time was when I met a girl through mutual friends & everything went smoothly. I asked her if she's seeing anyone & she said no. 2 weeks later , we were discussing plans on hanging out when her Freudian slip came out "I have a boyfriend" & I decided to cut ties. Because of her actions, I was disappointed, hurt, & frustrated... yet, my instincts kept telling me "she's most likely seeing someone else so keep a distance (which I did)"...

anyone else experience this?

My ex broke up with me about a month ago now , I'm over the biggest part now. Not over here 100% but I'm a good portion of being over her ( we were dating for almost 10 months). Anyways , there's this other girl that I've always liked , I don't remember a time I didn't like her. We have been freinds since I as about 3 and I like her and I'm pretty shore she likes me back ( :D)

She's 3 years older then me , out of high school now , she's 19 and I'm 16... For future reference let's call her Pam just to keep things more organized... Anyways , I still love my ex... (Let's call her Angela) Not full on , like not to the point I'd drop everything to be back with her , but kinda. About 2 weeks ago me and my ex went to the same party , and she got all pissed at me because I was flirting with other girls. That made me mad cause , hell , he's my ex. She can't tell me what to do anymore... Anyways I'm still mad at her...

Last night Pam came over and we had a fire out back , talked a lot and carried on and had an overall good time. We talked afterwords and both agreed we should hang out again soon.

The thing is ; I can decide if I'm seriously considering dating Pam to make Angela jealous or if I'm doing it for me. Is it to early to move on if I still have feelings for Angela or would it help me to date Pam to get over Angela , or would that only hurt me more?
