He’s on my snap and views my stories, I posted a story for Valentines Day and he responded. He wished me a happy Valentine’s Day. Why is he following up again? He’s socially awkward but it’s kinda odd in my opinion. He spoke a bit on Vday but the convo was very brief and dull. He asked how I was doing and hoping that I am having a good day. Friendly gesture or trying to make himself known?

I was having a conversation and now I wonder if there are people that not because they are bad people but because of some traits of their personality, are meant to be lone wolves and not have one of those small group of friends that are like a second family.

Maybe they aren't even socially awkward, can manage to have a conversation, they get on well with people, and people have a positive image of them. Maybe are even able to have lasting romantic relationships. However they don't get to have friends they can always count for support or hang out.

Is it possible to be something related to the person's nature and they have to accept it, or there's always something inherently wrong with the person which needs to be changed?

I went out with someone once and he messaged me after we met up. Then I didn’t hear from him again for over a week. I think he would send snaps, those came to my direct inbox so I don't know if that was an error. But yeah a little over a week after we meet up, he messages me and says that he hopes I’m having a good day. He was a bit on the socially awkward side so maybe he wasn’t interested but I never followed up other than saying thanks. It’s been months since we last spoke, he views my snap stories that’s it.
