This girl I am very interested in that I met in class is confusing the fuck out of me. We started off just talking in class and then one day after class we talked in the library for an hour and a half or so. Since then she has initiated conversations less and less. So I thought maybe she wasn't interested and just wanted me to quit pursuing her so the last few days I made no attempt to talk to her then on the way out of class today she waited outside of class I thought for the other people in our friends group and I just walked straight out thinking she was not waiting for me. She left the other people without saying a word going the same direction I was but she didn't say anything and I basically just walked faster cause I did not know what to say and I thought she wasn't interested.

Some have said that that the One-Drop Rule did somewhat also apply to people with some Native American ancestry but I'm not so sure. The One-Drop Rule seems to always strictly apply to people with a drop of Sub-Saharan African/Black ancestry. I never recalled a single Mestizo Mexican or Half-Mexican (1 Mestizo Mexican parent), Half-White European ever having to be socially forced to identify as American Indian for just having that drop of Non-White European blood ancestry, at least maybe not the same way African-Americans were.
