We used to hang out all the time for 2 months straight, just as good friends. We both go to the same college, and we only talked in class during high school. She was dropping hints almost two months ago but I didn't do anything about it, and she just kinda stopped. I was getting ready to tell her how I feel, and ask her out on a date, but I haven't seen her all last week or this week, which is not common. I'm not sure why, and I'm not sure if I should move on or not. I've been hanging out with other friends to take my mind off her, but I still always think about her. by the way I'm 18 not 28!!!

We're close friends. Recently she started dropping hints about being single and she's been more chattier and touchier around me. As such, I've reciprocated because I do admittedly have feelings for her. Yet she's changed how she'd normally message me though.

Before, I'd use to get an immediate reply and we'd have good chats and there'd be no issues especially because we'd not talk daily but message every now and then to check up. Now though, I'm waiting a bit for a reply or no reply at all.

I did mention us going out some time and she seemed keen and in person everything is all good so what's going on?

We went to high school together and just talked in class every so often. I always admired her, not to the point where I had any kind of crush though. Well we both started at the same college as freshmen 8 weeks ago, and our dorms are right next to each other. Since we moved in, we have been hanging out 3-5 times a week. The first 4 weeks I felt some tension, and it seemed like she was dropping a couple hints she liked me. Plus she initiated about everything. Well I didn't show any interest back and it seemed like she moved on (she's beautiful, popular, and lots of boys chase her so she's not the type to get hung up on one dude). We still hang out and go to the gym though, but I can tell she sees me as just a friend. Bottem line is, I really like this girl, and I want her to know but I don't know if it's a good idea. Last night she text me about meeting up for coffee, because all her friends were partying and she wasn't in the mood to that night. After we got coffee, we went back to her dorm, got pizza, and watched netflix until 5 am. At 5 am I fell asleep on her couch, and she slept on her bed. I woke up around 1 pm today and went back to do some chores. When we were watching the show, I sat in the middle of the couch and she sat off to the side doing homeowrk. There was never any tension or anything, and eventually she just moved to her bed and I layed on the couch. So basically, friendzone. We are supposed to be getting dinner in a little while, should I just tell her straight up how I feel? I can handle rejection, I just don't want to make things weird.

If you have ever seen the show Dexter, I have a personality like Dexter (minus the phsycopath part). So I am awkward when it comes to making moves, and I never really dated in high school. This girl is really popular, successful, and beautiful. Lot's of guys chase her actually, so when we were first hanging out I just saw her as a friend. Plus it was weird to think about a relationship at first because I have known her for years (but we never hung out until now). But I am falling hard for her. I have started to tease her, touch her on the shoulder/arm more, sit close to her, lean in when I talk, etc. It's been a month already and I might have locked myself in the friendzone because of my lack of action. So at this point, should I keep dropping hints or should I just tell her straight up how I feel?
