I recently met this guy through an online dating website (I go to a women's college, so it's difficult to find men haha), and we had a date and hit it off really well! He told me that he was seriously impressed with me, and it seemed like he genuinely liked me (he even texted me that same night after the date to make sure I had gotten home okay).

We ended up texting the rest of the night, but I fell asleep on him and responded to one of his texts after I woke up. He didn't respond, and I eventually decided to just text him two days later asking him if he wanted to meet up before I left for winter break. He responded asking me how my finals were going and whether I was doing alright with them, but then he said that he wouldn't be free, because he had a lot of work (he already graduated and is actually working).

I thought this meant that he was blowing me off, so I told him that I understood and hoped he had a good break, but then he ended up texting me more and continuing the conversation/ complimenting me on how I would have no problems doing well on my exams. If he's not interested in me, why is he still texting me and giving me mixed signals? I actually really like him and just don't understand what he wants as of right now :/
